STORRS, CT — The University of Connecticut women's basketball team will face 10 opponents that competed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament as part of a challenging 2026-27 non-conference schedule.
The 10 tournament teams all finished among the top 25 of the final NCAA NET rankings last season, including three teams ranked in the top 10. The opponents are No. 3 South Carolina, No. 5 LSU, No. 6 Michigan, No. 8 Duke, No. 11 Louisville, No. 12 Iowa, No. 15 Maryland, No. 16 Ohio State, No. 20 Notre Dame and No. 25 Tennessee.
UConn will open its official season schedule Nov. 2 against Cornell. The Huskies will play three exhibition games before the season begins, facing Syracuse on Oct. 12 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, followed by home exhibitions against Texas on Oct. 19 and Army on Oct. 25.
The schedule includes four marquee neutral-site games.
UConn will face South Carolina in the Hall of Fame Women's Showcase on Nov. 24 at Mohegan Sun Arena. The Huskies will then travel to Boston for their first game at TD Garden, where they will face Duke on Nov. 28.
UConn will play Maryland on Dec. 5 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, as part of the third annual Women's Champions Classic. The Huskies will close their nonconference schedule against LSU on Dec. 20 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, in the espnW Invitational.
The schedule includes four opponents from the Big Ten, three from the Southeastern Conference and three from the Atlantic Coast Conference.
UConn's remaining venue designations, game times and television information will be announced later.
