STORRS, CT — The University of Connecticut has launched a new centralized hub for reporting concerns or potential policy violations.

The report site, according to UConn officials, "provides a clear starting point for anyone looking to submit a form, with information on reporting options and available support."
The new service replaces the inform.uconn.edu portal.
The report site is designed to be used by faculty and staff members, students, and community members at not only the main UConn campus in Storrs but all regional campuses and UConn Health as well.
Life-threatening emergencies and urgent building and grounds concerns, such as active flooding, gas leaks, or structural failures, should still be addressed by calling 911, officials said.
"UConn is committed to fostering a culture of compliance, which includes encouraging a reporting culture. Providing an avenue for individuals to share concerns regarding potential violations of policies and the law allows the institution the opportunity to address potential wrongdoing and strengthen processes and systems," officials said.
The site clearly explains the categories of issues that can be reported and walks the user through the process they can expect. Its useful filtering tool makes it easy to find the right reporting form for any situation.
It also features links to relevant University resources, such as the UConn Student Code, the on-campus housing contract, the outdoor activities policy, the religious accommodations policy, and the nonretaliation policy.
The report site also allows users to make general maintenance requests to the Facilities Operations area.
