Chaplin Winner Cashes $100,000 Connecticut Lottery Prize On Ticket Purchased In Willimantic

A six-figure lottery prize has been won in eastern Connecticut.

WILLIMANTIC, CT — A Chaplin resident won $100,000 playing the Connecticut Lottery's CASH5 game after purchasing the ticket in Willimantic.

The winning ticket was cashed Sept. 18, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The ticket was purchased at Foodland in Willimantic, a grocery store.

The winner matched the numbers needed to claim the $100,000 prize.
