CONNECTICUT — Police pointed a Taser at former UConn great and current WNBA star Paige Bueckers as Dallas a Wings teammate was being arrested last spring in Florida, according to published reports.
A video was first obtained by the California Post and posted on X and then shared by the New York Post.
The incident occurred at around 4:20 a.m. on March 5, just outside of the popular Miami nightclub E11EVEN.
Arike Ogunbowale was arrested after an altercation broke out at a celebration over her championship in the Unrivaled league, according to law enforcement.
Ogunbowale is accused of punching a staffer at the club.
