For The U.S. House, the candidates are longtime Democratic incumbent Joe Courtney and Republican George Austin.

Mansfield voters will participate in three state legislative races in the Nov. 3, 2026, election: the 29th Senate District and the 50th and 54th House districts. The town is represented by two state House districts, so the candidates on an individual voter's ballot depend on their address.

State Senate: 29th District

Democratic incumbent Mae Flexer faces Republican Chris Reddy. The 29th Senate District includes Mansfield and communities in northeastern Connecticut.

State House: 50th District

Democratic incumbent Patrick Boyd faces Republican Anthony Emilio.

State House: 54th District

Democratic incumbent Gregg Haddad is "officially" running unopposed. Republican Charles Ausburger had filed initial paperwork but is not on the official ballot.
