Update: Storrs Drug to Close

is expected to be closing its University Plaza pharmacy location on Storrs Road by the end of next week.

In the remaining days before the pharmacy closes its doors, items in the convenience section of the store are still available for purchase. The store’s merchandise includes food and drink, greeting cards, household and bath essentials, newspapers, magazines and toys.

As of Friday, June 17, the pharmacy is no longer filling prescriptions.

All patient profiles and refills will be transferred to Beacon Prescriptions, 972 Main St., Willimantic, CT 06226; 860-423-1125.
