Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Thirty-four Eastern Connecticut State University students are participating in the university's Concert Band this spring 2019 semester. Concert Band is a blend of more than 80 musicians including students, faculty, alumni, local music educators and other talent from the eastern Connecticut area. Among the student musicians is Esther Jones of Storrs, who majors in Music. Jones plays trombone.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Ryan J. Kaeser of Storrs has been named to the President's List at Western New England University for the fall 2018 semester. Kaeser is working toward a BSBA in Finance. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher.
• Kevin P. Ecsedy of Mansfield Center has been named to the Dean's List at Western New England University for the fall semester 2018. Ecsedy is working toward a BSBA in Sport Management. Students are named to the Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher.
