Arrest Made for Illegal Credit Card Transactions in Mansfield

MANSFIELD, CT — A man has been charged out of Mansfield with a dozen counts of illegally using a credit card, state police said.

Michael Samson, 28, of Willimantic, was also charged with fourth-degree larceny on Sunday, state police said. He surrendered at the state police Troop C barracks.

The fake charged took place in July and a warrant had been issued for his arrest, state police said.

He has a court date of Oct. 16, state police said.
