Attention UConn Campus Foodies: Dining Halls Might Be Closer Than You Think

STORRS, CT — So ... if one wanted to try out every dining hall on the University of Connecticut campus, just how long would it take to get to each one?

Well, UConn's dining service has taken care of that with a new map that measures the distances to other dining halls from the Gelfenbein complex.

"If you're new to campus or just want to try a different dining hall than the one closest to your residence, check out our maps," UConn officials said.

UConn Dining Services Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist Lilly Tartsinis has created a guide that shows walking times to each dining halls from Gelfenbein.

"UConn Storrs is a big campus, and getting to some places may seem quite a distance," officials said. "With eight dining halls, one in every corner of campus, they may not be as far as you think."

Every dining hall has a different menu, action bars, and "style," officials said.
