MANSFIELD, CT — A bicycle with a man pedaling and a 4-year-old in a seat was hit by a car Saturday morning in Mansfield, state police said.

The crash was reported at 10:42 a.m., according to a state police report.

State police said a 2014 Lincoln MHZ driven by a 63-year-old Storrs man was heading north on Maple Road at the intersection of North Eagleville Road and hit the bike while making a left-hand turn, according to a crash report.

The 4-year-old was "seated," and the bike was being pedaled by a 40-year-old Storrs man, according to a crash report.

All three people involved escaped injury, but the bike was wrecked and the Lincoln sustained minor damage, state police said.
