Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Mansfield Crash: Update
The rider had a suspected head injury.
MANSFIELD, CT — A bicyclist was seriously injured on a busy section of road on Thursday, authorities said.
The accident took place at about 6:30 p.m., in the area of Route 195 and Ledgewood Drive, according to Tolland County 911.
The cyclist reportedly had a head injury, according to the dispatch service. State Police later identified him as 19-year-old Stephen Grotton of Mansfield.

Life Star helicopter was called to the scene.
The cause is being investigated.
