Black Students At UConn Threatened By Racial Slurs

Black students at the University of Connecticut say they no longer feel safe following an incident.

STORRS, CT — Black students at the University of Connecticut are demanding action after a recent incident involving racial slurs, according to WTNH. A video shows white students walking through a parking lot allegedly saying the N-word to black students inside Charter Oaks Apartments.

One student said the incident has "put everybody on edge" as this has happened twice.

The student who took the video called for the students who lobbed the racial slurs to be expelled.

The incident is being investigated by university police, WTNH reported.
