
GLASS is a concert experience visual elements amidst gorgeous choral music performed by Voices of Concinnity that explores ways glass shapes how we see our world. At times, glass is shattered or acts as a barrier to the outside, but it also transforms what we see through magnification and color. Lest we forget the glass half-full as a reminder of our perseverance.
Voices of Concinnity is Connecticut’s versatile professional vocal chamber ensemble who will performing gorgeous choral music composed by Cecilia McDowall, Kassia, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Morten Lauridsen, Margaret Bonds, Orlando di Lasso, Katerina Gimon, and more, including the U.S. premiere of a new work by Kerensa Briggs. Tickets are $20 / Students free.
Join us for this concert on Saturday, June 6 at 4pm in von der Mehden Recital Hall at UCONN Storrs where admission is $20/students are free (no one is turned away for lack of funds).
