MANSFIELD, CT β€” A fire broke out during a single-vehicle crash in Mansfield over the weekend, state police said.

The crash took place Saturday at 9:58 p.m. Saturday.

According to a state police crash report, a 2013 Ford Fusion being driven by a 20-year-old East Hartford woman was heading west on Route 32, just prior to the Route 44 intersection when the car ran off the road and slammed into a utility pole.

The car then went back onto the pavement , rolled over across both lanes and came to a fin al rest on he eastbound shoulder, state police said.

The car then caught fire, which was taken car if by Mansfield firefighters, according to state police.

Neither the driver nor her 17-year-old passenger reported injuries.
