Car Goes On Pinball Ride In Mansfield During Snowstorm

MANSFIELD, CT — A car was involved in a scary game of vehicular pinball during the weekend snowstorm in Mansfield, state police said.

The incident took place at 9:29 a.m. on Storrs Road, state police said.

According to a crash report, a 2012 Nissan Sentra with a 45-yer-old Vernon man behind the wheel was headed south at the East Road intersection when it spun to the right, ran off the road and slammed into an Eversource pole. It then caromed back into the road, crossed both lanes and skidded into the left-hand shoulder, according t0 a crash report.

The driver was unhurt, state police said.
