Car Hits Mailbox, Stone Wall During On Snowy Road In Mansfield
It was a wild ride for one driver in Mansfield Sunday.

MANSFIELD, CT — A car had a close encounter with a stone wall and a mailbox in Mansfield during Sunday's heavy and prolonged snow squall.
The crash took place at 10:20 a.m.
According to a state police crash report, a 2018 Honda Cr-V was north on South Eagleville Road. Its driver, a 23-year-old Mansfield woman, failed to negotiate a turn, skidded off the road and then hot a mailbox and about 30 feet of stone wall, according to a crash report.

The car was wrecked, but the driver escaped injury, according to a crash report.
