MANSFIELD, CT — Not even a car at church was safe from a hit-and-run driver in Mansfield last week, state police said.

State police released a report on the incident this week. At 2 p.m. on Nov. 14, state police at the Troop C barracks received a report about a car being hit at a church at 28 Dog Lane, according to a crash report. That's the address for the Three Hierarchs Greek Orthodox Chapel.

A 2020 Honda CRV was parked correctly in a space at the church and was hit in the front end on the driver's side, according to a crash report. The other driver left the scene, state police said.

State police said anyone who may have witnessed the crash can call them at 860-896-3200.
