Celebrate 'Bug Week' at UConn

Learn about the bugs around Mansfield and Storrs at an educational exploration program at UConn.

Explore the world of insects both indoors and out with Pamm Cooper and Joan Allen from the UConn Home & Garden Education Center.

Live specimens of various insects including walking sticks will be on hand for an up close look at some of the most fascinating animals found in fields, gardens and trees. Weather permitting, time will be spent outdoors searching for and identifying insects.

This event is part of the inaugural UConn Bug Week and will be of interest to people of all ages.
