Children of the Stone: A Musical Performance and Book Discussion

Children of the Stone, a concert and book discussion by Palestinian musician Ramzi Aburedwen, will take place Monday at 5 p.m. in the UConn Student Union, Room 331.

Sponsored by UConn Students for Justice in Palestine and the Tree of Life Educational Fund, the event will feature live music as well as a presentation of the book Children of the Stone by Sandy Toland.

The book chronicles Ramzi's musical journey from a Palestinian refugee camp to Europe and back to Palestine, where he became the head of a network of musical conservatories.
