Coventry Man Charged After Police Uncover 700 Kid Porn Images: Police
Police discovered hundreds of child porn images on electronics belonging to a Coventry man, a report indicates.

COVENTRY, CT — A Coventry man is facing a child porn charge after investigators discovered hundreds of lewd images on electronic devices belonging to him, a law enforcement report indicates.
On Tuesday, the Coventry police arrested 59-year-old local resident Ronny Kohler via a warrant charging him with first-degree possession of child pornography.
The investigation into Kohler commenced after police received 13 Cyber Tipline reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding suspected child pornography accessed online, according to an arrest report. Police said the tips were initially investigated by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and then turned over to them once it was determined that the files were accessed by a computer IP address assigned to a Coventry address.
