Coventry Tree Farm Wins Grand Champion Ribbon At Big E Christmas Tree Competition

COVENTRY, CT — A Coventry Christmas tree grower has earned the top honor at The Big E's annual Christmas Tree Competition.

Hickory Ridge Tree Farm was named Grand Champion for a Blue Spruce entered in the competition, which features Christmas trees grown by producers from throughout New England.

The competition evaluates entries on freshness, shape, density and overall quality. Trees earning top honors receive ribbons, rosettes and cash prizes, with the Grand Champion designation representing the competition’s highest award.
