CT Lottery Introduces UConn Basketball Tribute Game

STORRS, CT — The CT Lottery, in a partnership with the University of Connecticut and IMG College, is launching a $5 scratch ticket called "Husky Hoops," which boasts more than $3.5 Million in total cash prizes and top prizes of $50,000.

In addition, CT residents will have the chance to win tickets to attend select men’s and women’s basketball games through social media and radio promotions.

"We are thrilled to partner with UConn, especially on the heels of a men's national championship," CT Lottery Senior Marketing Director Pete Donahue said. "UConn is a premier brand in Connecticut due to their long history of excellence, winning and an exceptionally strong following throughout the state."

The limited edition ticket has multiple scenes featuring :"iconic UConn images," CT Lottery officials said. The marketing campaign is themed "Ticket of Champions” as a nod to the women's and men's titles over the years.

The Husky Hoops game will be available this week at more than 2,800 retailers throughout the state.

"Our partnership with the CT Lottery and the various promotions in support of Husky Hoops will give our fans a unique experience to continue to celebrate our championship basketball programs in the Basketball Capitol of the World."

The overall odds of winning a prize on the Husky Hoops ticket is 1 in 3.54. The game features three top prizes of $50,000, eight $5,000 winners and 127 prizes of $100. Click here for the full prize table.
