DOT To Be Gathering Transit Feedback At Nash Zimmer In Mansfield

The Connecticut Department of Transportation Customer Experience Action Team will be in Mansfield Wednesday.

MANSFIELD, CT — On Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon, the Connecticut Department of Transportation Customer Experience Action Team will be gathering feedback about public transportation at the Nash Zimmer Transportation Center.

The CTDOT is collecting information to develop the first-ever Customer Experience Action Plan, which will outline future programs, policies, and investments to improve public transportation in Connecticut.

The pop-up event in Mansfield be the 25th community engagement activity for the CX Action Team. To help celebrate this milestone, Jonathan XIV the Husky will welcome the CTDOT and greet the public at 9 a.m. Students, faculty, and residents are encouraged to stop by, take pictures, and offer feedback.

Since its launch in May, the CTDOT has had more than 3,000 customer interactions through public events, focus groups, surveys, and stakeholder meetings. Members of the media are invited to attend this event to hear from transit users and learn more about the CTDOT CX Action Plan. More information can be found at transitcx.com.
