Driver Thrown From Pickup Sunday In Mansfield Crash
A pickup truck wound up on its roof early Sunday in Mansfield.

MANSFIELD, CT β A driver was tossed out of a pickup truck during an early morning crash Sunday in Mansfield.
The crash took place at 1:30 a.m.
According to a state police crash report, a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado being driven by a 24-year-old Willimantic resident was heading east on Sugar Hill Road, about a half-mile east of Mansfield City Road.

The truck veered off the road, went up an embankment, skidded in an easterly direction after rolling onto the driver's side, hit pole and a rock post and flipped onto its roof, according to a crash report.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to Windham Hospital for evaluation, according to a crash report.
