E.O. Smith Softball Garners Votes In Latest Poll
The Panthers near the season's midway point with a 7-1 record.

STORRS, CT — The release of the latest weekly high school softball poll yielded the same result as each previous week since day one of the season: Seymour is first, and Southington second.
Seymour (10-0) received 10 of 14 first-place votes from coaches and media members, with Southington (7-0) garnering the other four.
E.O. Smith (7-1) did not crack the top 15 in the most recent balloting, but received considerable support from voters. Due to rescheduled games from inclement weather, the Panthers are scheduled for games on four straight days this week, including three on the road.
