E.O. Smith Wrestlers Advance to Class L Quarterfinals

BRISTOL, CT — The Class L high school wrestling championships got underway Friday at Bristol Central High School, and at the end of the first day of competition, 47 grapplers from schools in Hartford and Tolland counties had advanced to the quarterfinals.

The quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be contested Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m.

Area wrestlers who have qualified for the round of eight are:
