East Haven Man Arrested For Harassment At UConn Student Union
He was snapping his fingers at a woman, police said.

STORRS, CT - An East Haven man has been charged with second-degree harassment because he would just not leave a woman alone in a University of Connecticut building, police said.
Ronald Winfield, 21, of 6 Hotchkiss Road, East Haven, is scheduled to answer that charge and a second-degree breach of peace charge on April 18 in Rockville Superior Court, according to an arrest report.
UConn police said they began investigating Winfield on April 6 after they received a call from a female at UConn's Student Union "who has been a victim of ongoing harassment."

The woman told police that, on the day, Winfield approached her and was snapping his fingers at her attempting to get her attention, according to an arrest report. The woman, "tried to shake her head no, to alert him to stay away," but Winfield came within an armβs length of her before she turned around and walked in the another direction, UConn police said.
The woman then called police, according to an arrest report.
