MANSFIELD, CT — Here is a look at how Mansfield residents voted in the 2016 election, according to the secretary of the state:

• (D) Clinton and Kaine - 8,305, 72.51%
• (R) Trump and Pence - 2,430, 21.22%
• (L) Johnson and Weld - 428, 3.74%
• (G) Stein and Baraka - 280, 2.44%

U.S. Senate

• (D) Richard Blumenthal - 7,754, 71.15%
• (R) Dan Carter - 2,290, 21.01%
• (WF) Richard Blumenthal - 450, 4.13%
• (L) Richard Lion - 188, 1.73%
• (G) Jeffery Russell - 216, 1.98%

U.S. Rep District 2

• (D) Joe Courtney - 7,488, 69.71%
• (R) Daria Novak - 2,110, 19.64%
• (WF) Joe Courtney - 435, 4.05%
• (L) Daniel Reale - 192, 1.79%

Registered voters in Mansfield were at the polls early on Tuesday for the for the 2016 election.

And it was a steady stream of voters when the polls opened at 6 a.m., staffers in the town clerk's office said.
