Metropolitan Opera stars Nathan Gunn and mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke join forces with the Grammy award-winning Orpheus Chamber Orchestra for the Connecticut premier of Earth Echoes, a major song cycle by Pulitzer Prize-nominated composer Augusta Read Thomas. The program will also include Rossini’s overture to The Italian in Algiers and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5.
