Funky Footwear Deal Lets UConn Fans Get a Foot Up on Their Rivals
UConn and Nike have teamed up for a unique sneaker deal.
STORRS, CT — University of Connecticut basketball fans can now match their footwear to their team.
UConn has been included as one of 13 schools nationally in the NIKEiD premier offering that allows fans to customize a variety of sneakers with the logos of their favorite teams.
The NIKE ID Dunk and Air Force 1 sneaker models will be available for fans to purchase on Nike.com from March 1 to April 10. Fans can check it out here.

The other 12 schools that are included in the offering are West Virginia, Villanova, Texas, Tennessee, Syracuse, Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan State, Kentucky, Duke, Arizona and Alabama.
