Happenings Down The Hill: 05/12-13, WTG Auditions For "Shrek" The Musical

AUDITIONS SHREK: THE MUSICAL
WHAT:  The Windham Theatre Guild will hold Open Auditions for their summer musical production of  Shrek: The Musical, based on the animated family film Shrek!
WHEN & WHERE:  Monday and Tuesday, May 12th and 13th  at 7:00 PM at the Windham Middle School, Quarry Street, Willimantic. Auditions will include vocal, movement and acting.  Please prepare a musical number, no more than one minute in length, for the vocal audition.  Bring sheet music.  Piano accompaniment will be provided.    Dress comfortably for the dance/movement activities.
NEEDED:          Shrek--male, age 21 or older                          Fiona--female age 21 or older Donkey--male age 21 or older                          Dragon--female age 21 or older Lord Farquaad--male age 21 or older Fairy tale creatures--need 7 kids (Ages 8 to 12), 4 men & 4 women ages 16+ for: Pinocchio, 3 Little Pigs (kids), Wolf, Ugly Duckling/Young Fiona (kid), Sugar Plum Fairy, Fairy Godmother/Teen Fiona, Peter Pan, Wicked Witch, Humpty Dumpty (kid), Dwarf/Young Shrek (kid), Papa Bear, Mama Bear, Baby Bear (kid)  Ensemble--need 4 men & 4 women ages 16+ for: Queen Lillian, King Harold, Happy People/Angry Mob, Guards, Knights, Dragon operators, 3 Blind Mice, Duloc Performers, Choir, Bishop, Thelonius, Pied Piper, Dancing Rats
