Happenings Down The Hill: Willimantic Winter Parking Ban Begins 12/15

Despite the spate of recent storms, the controversial winter parking in Willimantic goes into effect on 12/15.

The following information was mailed home in a recent water bill.  This ban only applies to Willimantic and not the Windham villages.  This ban was approved by the Windham Town Council and by the Willimantic Traffic Authority, with Public Works Director Brad Wojick and Town Engineer Joe Gardner in favor and Police Chief Lisa Muruzo Bolduc opposed.

 EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 15 TO  MARCH 1 FROM MIDNIGHT TO 6 AM

NO ON STREET PARKING IN WILLIMANTIC

YOU MAY PARK AT THE FOLLOWING MUNICIPAL PARKING LOCATIONS DURING THOSE TIMES:

Jillson Square, Walnut Street, High Street, Crosby Lot/North Street,

Bank Street and Riverside Drive
