I-84-to-UConn Bus Route Announced

TOLLAND/STORRS — A new CT Transit express bus route offering service from Interstate-84 to the University of Connecticut campus is scheduled to be put into service in mid-August.

Tolland officials made the announcement on Wednesday.

This service will provide a direct bus connection between the Tolland park-and-ride lot on Merrow Road and the UConn campus. The lot is at the Exit 68 interchange with I-84.

The route is a part of the "913 Buckland-Storrs Express" line out of Manchester, officials said.

Service will operate daily, officials said.

More details on the schedule will be provided by the Connecticut Department of Transportation "in the near-future, officials said.
