Large Rock In Road Causes Rollover Crash in Mansfield
A pickup truck rolled over in Mansfield, state police said.
MANSFIELD, CT — A large rock in the center of a road causes a teen to roll over a pickup truck in Mansfield late last week, state police said.
According to a crash report, at 8:51 a.m. on July 25, a 2023 Toyota Tacoma being driven by a 17-year-old from Storrs was headed west on Stonemill Road near Hanks Hill Road. The driver saw a large rick in the road and, when he swerved to avoid it, the truck ran off the road, hit an embankment and rolled over, according to a crash report.
The teen was taken to Backus Hospital with minor injuries, according to a crash report.
