The Latest Troop C Arrests: Assault Charge in Mansfield

TOLLAND, CT — Here are the latest arrests from the state police Troop C barracks:

March 17

SOMERS, CT — Michael Skrabely, 60, of Joan Street, Springfield, MA, was charged with failure to register a motor vehicle eligible for commercial registration, driving under suspension, driving under the influence and a lane violation for an incident on Route 83, state police said. Witnesses call in erratic driving complaints, state police said.

MANSFIELD, CT — Joshua Beal, 20, of Prospect Street, Windham, was charged with disorderly conduct, threatening and third-degree assault for an incident in November on Meadowbrook Lane, state police said.

Kristen Belanger, 20, Trumbull Highway, Lebanon, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief, state police said.

TOLLAND, CT — Biagio Cortese, 63, of Tolland, was charged with interfering for an incident on Mountain Spring Road, state police said. He provided false information while the incident was being investigated, state police said. Mary Cortese, 29, was charged with violating a protective order in the incident, state police said.
