TOLLAND, CT β€” Yona Barry Horn, 28, of Waterbury, was charged with reckless driving and driving under the influence, according to an arrest report. Horn was pulled over after being spotted going 90 mph on I-84 eastbound at 9:48 p.m. and failed sobriety tests, according to an arrest report.

MANSFIELD, CT β€”Blade Leavenworth, 22, of Bourne, MA, was charged with illegally possessing a narcotic after a speeding stop at 11:39 p.m. on I-84, according to an arrest report. More than a half-ounce of Marijuana was found in the car, according to an arrest report.

Oct. 21

ASHFORD, CT β€” South Windsor resident Peter Dooley, 19, was charged with speeding, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and possession of alcohol by a minor after being clocked at 75 mph on Nott Highway in Ashford, according to an arrest report. The incident was at 9:30 p.m., according to an arrest report.

SOMERS, CT β€” State police arrested a 33-year-old Waterbury woman and a 37-year-old inmate at Osborn Correctional Institution for conspiring to sneak high-potency pain medication into the facility. Jamie Sanchez, was charged with conspiracy to commit/possess narcotics and conspiracy to commit/convey an unauthorized item into an institution, according to an arrest report. Barbara King was charged with drug sales, drug possession, conveying an unauthorized item into an institution, and felony conspiracy, according to an arrest report.

STORRS, CT β€” Patrick Greenhaigh, 30, of Mansfield, was charged with speeding, driving under the influence and a lane violation, according to an arrest report. He was spotted driving erratically on Route 195 through the UConn campus area, according to an arrest report.

Oct. 22

STORRS, CT β€” Joseph Medina, 22, of Copaigue, NY, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass, breach of peace and third-degree assault after allegedly punching a staff member at Husky's Bar, according to an arrest report. He was taken into custody at 1:43 a.m.
