UPDATE: Man Seriously Injured in Mansfield Crash
Police say a truck struck a car and then hit several trees and a stone wall.

The 66-year-old driver of a Dodge Ram truck was seriously injured in a two-car crash about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night when he drifted into oncoming traffic, striking a car and then colliding with several trees and a stone wall, according to Connecticut State Police.
The driver, identified as Peter Attardo of Willimantic, was taken to Windham Hospital and then transported by Lifestar to Hartford Hospital, according to police. The crash occurred on Route 89 near Mulberry Road.

The police report did not incidate whether the driver of the Nissan Rogue, Mary Frances Schoell, 22, of Willington, was injured.
Police said their crash investigation is continuing.

LifeStar has responded to a crash in the area of 400 Warrenville Rd. in Mansfield on Wednesday night, according to NBC Connecticut.
Emergency dispatchers said the crash happened around 7:30 p.m. and at least one person was injured.
