Man Charged With Sending Electronic Messages to Someone at UConn in Violation of Protective Order
He posted a $30,000 bond, records indicate.

STORRS, CT — A Stamford man has been charged with violating a restraining order for sending electronic messages to someone at the University of Connecticut who sought the order against him, police said.
UConn police said John Walker, 56, of 71 Strawberry Hill Ave., Stamford, surrendered to them on Oct. 27.
UConn police said they received complaints about the messages and applied for an arrest warrant.

Walker made an initial appearance in Rockville Superior Court, posted a $30,000 bond and is due back in court on Nov. 29, according to judicial system records.
