
MANSFIELD, CT — A local man has been charged with first-degree threatening for an incident with a gun on Tuesday.
Police were made aware of the incident at 5:15 p.m. when a woman came, to the Troop C barracks to say that Michael Allen, 51, of 446 Stafford Road, Mansfield, had said he would "hunt her down" during an argument whole holding a gun.
Police went to the residence and arrested Allen. He was held on a $50,000 bond and appeared in court the next day. He remained in custody on Friday on that bond and is due on court again on Aug. 9, according to judicial system records.
