Man Wanted fior Florida Sexual Assault Located in Mansfield
State police took a man wanted in Florida into custody over the weekend.
MANSFIELD, CT — A man wanted in Florida for the alleged sexual assault of a 4-year-old girl was picked up in Mansfield over the weekend, state police said.
On Saturday, troopers in Connecticut were notified by a detective from the Alamonte Springs Police Department in Florida that 26-year-old Blair Thompson, wanted in a sexual assault case involving a 4-year-old girl, could be staying in Mansfield, according to an arrest report.
Connecticut troopers did indeed find him in town, at a residence on Edgewood Lane, according to an arrest report.

He was taken into custody without incident, state police said, and is being held on a $500,000 bond and was to appear in Rockville Superior Court court on Monday.
