STORRS, CT — A 36-year-old Manchester man was hit in a crosswalk while trying to traverse a section of Storrs Road in Mansfield last week, state police said.

According to a state police crash report, the man was attempting to cross the street at the Manter Road intersection at about 6 p.m. on Nov. 28 when he collided with a car heading south.

The driver, a 56-year-old Mansfield woman, was cited for failing to grant the right of way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

The pedestrian was sent to Windham Hospital a minor injury, according to a crash report.
