Mansfield Athletes Playing Division III Fall Sports In CT

Three student-athletes from Mansfield are competing this fall at the state's nine Division III colleges and universities.

MANSFIELD, CT — A few weeks ago, we wrote about student-athletes from Connecticut, particularly from Mansfield, who stayed in-state to play Division I and Division II college sports. Today, we conclude the series with a look at the local performers at the state's nine Division III colleges and universities.

More than 550 Connecticut student-athletes, including three from Mansfield, are pursuing their academic and sports endeavors at in-state D-III schools this fall, based on rosters provided by those institutions.

Danbury has 18 student-athletes on in-state D-III fall rosters, while Bristol has 16, Bridgeport 15 and West Hartford 14.
