Mansfield Drive-in Theatre And Marketplace Ready For Spring Openings
Opening dates have been announced for the movies and the flea market at the Mansfield Drive-In.

MANSFIELD, CT — The Mansfield drive-in is ready for another season for its market and movies.
The Mansfield Drive-in has been in operation since 1954.
The Mansfield Marketplace is scheduled to open for the season on March 19. Vendors and buyers alike are welcomed back to thrift shop, treasure hunt, and look for bargains at what is always billed as the largest flea market in eastern Connecticut.

"We are excited about our spring opening! After a long winter people are ready to check out the many unique items that can be found at the flea market," General Manager Naomi Jungden said. "Stop in and see us – we're here every Sunday."
The flea market is indeed open every Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine, throughout the spring, summer and fall. The 15,000-square-foot indoor market has its own snack bar, a variety of vendors, and handicapped accessible bathrooms.

Outside space can host 300-plus vendors.
Many new and used items are featured, including plants, produce, antiques and collectibles, clothing, crafts, jewelry, tools and toys.
Parking for buyers is $3.00 per car. Vendors can call 860-456-2578.
The spring opening of the Mansfield Drive-in Theatre is scheduled for April 7. Featured will be the latest movies as well as classic favorites. With double features on each of the thre big screens, the drive-in is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday through mid-June and every night in the summer.
