Mansfield Extends Transfer Station Hours for Trash Delays

MANSFIELD, CT — Mansfield residents can expect trash and recycling pickup delays because of cold-related equipment issues, town officials said Tuesday.

Repairs are being made, but, as a precaution and because a snowstorm is forecast for later in the week, transfer station hours have been extended for trash and recycling drop-offs.

The transfer station will be open:

• Wednesday, Jan. 3 - 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Thursday, Jan. 4 - noon to 4 p.m.
• Friday, Jan. 5 - 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Saturday, Jan. 6 - 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
