Mansfield Historical Society Plans July 12 Event For New Town Hall Exhibits

MANSFIELD, CT — The Mansfield Historical Society is inviting residents to a July 12 celebration marking the completion of renovations to both of Mansfield’s historic Town Hall buildings.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, July 12, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., according to a press release from David Landry dated June 30, 2026.

The society said the event will include two new exhibits tied to the renovation milestone. The release states, “We have two brand new exhibits to mark the occasion of the completion of renovations to both of Mansfield’s historic Town Hall buildings.” Refreshments will also be served during the afternoon event.

Admission is $5 for adults, according to the release. The event is free for Mansfield Historical Society members and for children. The announcement did not list advance registration information or provide additional details about the exhibits in the text released Monday.

Parking details were also included for visitors planning to attend. The society said overflow parking will be available at First Baptist Church, across the street at 945 Storrs Road.
