Mansfield Obituary: Catherine Taylor, 67

Catherine A. Taylor, 67, of Somers and formerly of Mansfield Center, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017.

She was born in Schenectady, NY, daughter of the late Walter E., Jr. and Catherine (Duke) Mainwaring. Catherine was the owner/operator of “Kitty’s Kids” day care in Mansfield Center for several years. She loved horses, art, and spending time with her dog, Andy.

Catherine is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, James Taylor; two daughters, Rachel Taylor-Fromerth and Marjorie Taylor, all of Somers; granddaughter, Danica Fromerth; two siblings, Daniel Mainwaring of Alabama and Mimi Cottrell and her husband Bill of Georgia; her aunt, Jackie Knowles; and many dear cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 4 P.M. at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 383 Hazard Ave., Enfield, CT 06082.
