Mansfield ’s Weekend Weather: Expect Some Big Changes
Soon the spring-like temps are about to leave us. The changes begin during this weekend.

You should spend some time outside today and Saturday because starting on Sunday it’s going to feel like winter is soon around the corner in Connecticut.
On the Connecticut coastline temps will be in the upper 50s Friday and possibly into the mid 60s in northern parts of the state with sunny skies. Saturday is another good weather day with sunny skies and temps in the mid 50s on the coast and low 60s inland.
And then the changes begin on Sunday and there may even be some snowflakes near Hartford, according to NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan. On Sunday, temps only reach into the mid to upper 40s with cloudy skies and strong wind gusts.

For Thanksgiving week we won’t hit 50 degrees in Connecticut again until Thanksgiving itself, but we could see showers then.
WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons wrote on social media, “A gorgeous weather day today with sunny skies and temperatures in the 60s! Another warm and sunny day for Saturday. Big changes coming in on Sunday with strong gusty winds and cold weather for the afternoon. I'm expecting a chilly week next week!”
Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan wrote that a computer model for Hartford on Sunday afternoon shows temps dropping into the 30s and there could be some snow showers in the area. He also said expect it to be windy too.

Hanrahan does share some good news saying, “The National Weather Service just released their winter outlook. If you don't like the cold - good news - the NWS is predicting a warmer than normal winter in New England. Who knows what will happen - I try to stick to the next few days not months.”
