Mansfield-Storrs Tag Sale Trail Set For April 25 Across The Map
Shoppers can use a free map to visit dozens of sales around Mansfield from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 25.

MANSFIELD, CT — Bargain hunters and residents looking to clear out unwanted items will have a chance to do both later this month at Mansfield’s annual Tag Sale Trail.
Mansfield Parks and Recreation is planning the event for Saturday, April 25, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. across town. According to the announcement, shoppers will be able to travel around Mansfield using an exclusive map that lists dozens of tag sales. Several home sales may also be open on Sunday.
Maps will be available starting April 20 at www.mansfieldcc.com or in hard copy at the Mansfield Community Center, free of charge. The event notice says shoppers can expect to find a wide range of items, including antiques, baby and children’s items, gardening tools, household items, furniture, outdoor equipment, rugs, books and quilts.

The event is being organized through Mansfield Parks and Recreation, with additional space still open for sellers inside the Mansfield Community Center gymnasium. According to the announcement, gym spaces are free and open to anyone, regardless of residency, but registration is required by April 13. Registration to be listed on the event map also closes April 13.
The announcement invites residents and shoppers with the line, “Whether you love the hunt for a bargain, need to purge your spring cleaning, or are just looking to finally get out of the house, this event has something for everyone!” It also describes the day as a chance to spend time traveling around town while browsing sales and searching for items that may not be easy to find elsewhere.

People interested in registering or learning more can visit www.mansfieldcc.com or call 860-429-3015 ext. 0 for event information. The notice states, “Space is still available in the Mansfield Community Center gymnasium for any last minute seller registrations. FREE!”
The town also included a reminder about private transactions connected to the event. According to the announcement, “The Town of Mansfield and Mansfield Parks and Recreation are not responsible for any of the products or sales agreements made by private parties on the Tag Sale Trail.”
For residents who want to shop, sell or both, the key dates are April 13 for registration and April 20 for map pickup ahead of the April 25 event.
