MHS invites you to attend “Yellow Roses: Voices of the Women’s Suffrage Movement.” Registration for this ZOOM program is required. October 1, 2021 at 7:30PM (eastern time)

Experience the story of the 72-year struggle for women’s right to vote.  In an illustrated dramatic presentation, Bev York will wear the hats and share the words of six suffragists from Elizabeth Cady Stanton who founded the movement to Alice Paul who finally saw the passage of the 19th Amendment.

Bev York works at the Mill Museum in Willimantic and teaches history at Quinebaug Community College.
