Zachary Lamothe will present stories from two of his books: Connecticut Lore: Strange, Off-Kilter and Full of Surprises and More Connecticut Lore: Guidebook to 82 Strange Locations. Both books are wide-ranging works that highlight stories of abandoned villages, tales of the supernatural, and off-beat travel destinations.

These books offer insider tips on tasty restaurants and activities near various attractions and have something new for both first-time visitors as well as longtime residents of the Nutmeg State.

A native of Norwich, Connecticut who now makes his home with his family on the South Shore of Massachusetts, Zach will also be talking about one of his more recent projects, β€œBackyard Road Trips”, a website that asks and answers the question, β€œWhat’s in your backyard?”
